Jordans and The Prince’s Countryside Fund Sustainable Agriculture Bursary aims to support undergraduate students to pursue their interest in sustainable agriculture and farming practices.
Established in 1845, The Royal Agricultural University or RAU is the first agricultural college in the English-speaking world. It provides more than 30 land-based undergraduate and postgraduate programmes to students from over 45 countries.
Scholarship Description:

- Course Level: The scholarships are open to study at the undergraduate level course
- Scholarship Award: A £3,000 cash award in their first year and a further £1,000 in both their second and third year of study
- Number of Scholarships: Not known

Eligibility for the Scholarship:
To be eligible, the applicants must be following all the given criteria:
- Eligible Countries: Only for the UK
- Eligible Course or Subject: Agriculture
- Entrance Requirements: To eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
- Must be aged between 18 – 35
- Have a conditional or unconditional offer for either an agricultural degree at the Royal Agricultural University or a degree at the University of Reading’s School of Agriculture, Policy, and Development, starting in September 2019
- Either the Royal Agricultural University or the University of Reading must be your first choice university for your application to be considered
- All applicants must live in the UK
- Have a genuine and demonstrable interest in sustainable agriculture
How to Apply:
Applicants must fill in the short and record a short accompanying video. Shortlisted applicants will be required to participate in a telephone interview by the end of June 2020.
