Flinders University RRES Program is now open for applications from suitably qualified students. It is a fully funded scholarship for all students sponsored by the Flinders University.
About the Scholarship
Flinders University is a public university in Adelaide, South Australia. Founded in 1966, it was named in honor of navigator Matthew Flinders, who explored and surveyed the South Australian coastline in the early 19th century.
The Rural and Regional Enterprise Scholarships (RRES) program was announced in 2016 to help Australians in regional and remote areas to access higher education. It supports people studying from Certificate IV through to PhD level.
Benefits of Flinders University RRES Program
The Scholarship payments will assist the Recipient with the financial costs of attending their institution and undertaking their Eligible Course of Study and Internship.
The Rural and Regional Enterprise Scholarship Program can provide:
1. Funding up to $18,000, based on course length and type of study or training.
2. A further $500 to support an internship.

Requirements for Flinders University RRES Program
RRES is available to students who:
1. Meet Australian citizenship or residency requirements.
2. Are commencing a new course of study in the same year as the relevant scholarship round.
3. Can provide evidence of financial need.
4. Have a permanent home address in a regional or remote area, as defined by the Australian Statistical Geography Standard (ASGS) 2016.
