EKSU Matriculation Ceremony: Ekiti State University (EKSU) has released the date, time and venue schedule for it’s online matriculation ceremony for 2019/2020 newly admitted students. Continue reading to see more details below.
Authority of Ekiti State University (EKSU) hereby wishes to inform the newly admitted students, their sponsors / parents, well-wishers, as well as members of the general public that the Matriculation Ceremony of the university meant to officially usher in the new students of the university for the 2019/2020 academic session has been scheduled for 9th September, 2020.

EKSU Virtual Matriculation Ceremony Schedule
All candidates who were recently offered admission into Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti (through the UTME and DE) during the 2019/2020 Academic session are hereby notified that a Virtual Matriculation Ceremony for them shall hold as follows:
Date: Wednesday, 9th September, 2020
Time: 10:00am
Mode: Zoom Application
The link for participation in the Virtual Matriculation Ceremony, as well as the Matriculation Oath forms, will be sent to only those who have paid all the prescribed University fees.
Procedure for EKSU Virtual Matriculation Ceremony:
A. PROCEDURE FOR PAYING ALL PRESCRIBED FEES ON REMITA BEFORE VIRTUAL MATRICULATION
1. Login to www.eksu.edu.ng
2. Click on “PAY FOR ALL PRESCRIBED FEES”
3. Select the name of service/purpose for which you are paying e.g Select:
i. “ACCEPTANCE FEE FOR FRESHERS (UNDERGRADUATE REGULAR) if you are yet to pay Acceptance Fee.
ii. “TUITION FEES: AGRIC SC. (REGULAR UNDERGRADUATE)” if you are in Faculty of Agric, otherwise select the tuition fee for your respective Faculty.
4 Select your Faculty/Department/Course and the amount to be paid will be displayed.
5 Select mode of entry e.g. UTME or DIRECT ENTRY.
6 Fill in your JAMB’s Registration Number.
7 Fill in student’s name as Payers’ name.
8 Fill in student’s phone number as Payer’s phone.
9 Fill in student’s VALID E-MAIL ADDRESS.
10 Confirm e-mail address. (Please ensure your email address is active and correct as your payment receipt will be sent to the email address you provided on the biller. You may not get a receipt if email is incorrect.
11 Please click on the “I’m not a robot” reCAPTCHA box for verification.
12 Click “Submit”.
13 Then select how you want to pay e.g.
a. CARD (This method requires that you fill in your ATM card (Master, Visa or Verve card) details to make payment).
b. Bank Branch (This method requires that you enter any bank that processes Remita transaction and present your pre-generated RRR code to make payment).
14 Submit.
B. PROCEDURE FOR REGISTERING FOR VIRTUAL MATRICULATION
1. Login to www.eksu.edu.ng
2. Click on “APPLY FOR PUTME/VIRTUAL MATRIC”
3. Click on “Student Login”
4. Enter your JAMB registration number as “username” and “password1” as default password (you will need to change it to your own password later) and click on login
5. Fill in your bio-data
6. Attach your passport and an image of your signature.
7. Click on “E-matriculation”
8. Select “Student declaration”
9. Click on “Append your signature”
10. Download and Print a copy of the “Matriculation oath”.
C. On the day of the Matriculation
1. Make sure that you have done steps 1-10 in “B” above
2. Go to www.eksu.edu.ng
3. Click on Eksuportal
4. Click on student login
– Click on “E-matriculation”
– Click on “Participate on matriculation”.
Candidates are please reminded, that, ONLY those who participate at the forthcoming Virtual Matriculation Ceremony shall be issued Matriculation Numbers, for the confirmation of their studentship in the University.
