BlackBerry Messenger (BBM), the previously restricted application of BlackBerry devices resumed its roll out after more than a few delays due to unexpected demands and a leaked unreleased version of the Messaging app that “caused issues” with BBM servers.

 New users who successfully signed up on BBM website are the first in line to download the app. This serves as a “share spot” for BlackBerry to prevent related cases they had back in September 2013 as soon as the heavy demands led to a 4 week-long delay. We noticed a period of time queue system (about 24hrs) or some sort of a waiting list is used by BlackBerry to handle millions of demand at time, remember the term “garbage in – garbage out” term in computer lessons.

Presently, BlackBerry reported that the Messaging app has gotten over 5million downloads an hour of launching the app and there are still approximately 60 million users of the app all over the world exchanging 10 billion messages every day. After installing the app, open and enter your email address to queue your spot.  Afterwards, you will receive an email and you may start using BBM app and chat using your BIS.

Anybody can sign up for the app, however a BlackBerry ID is necessary to log-in. Are you new or don’t you have an account? You can create one by providing your email ID and creating a password.

After sign-in, the app assigns a PIN similar to BlackBerry Messenger on Blackberry devices. BlackBerry link the PIN to the device. Only one ID is used on one device. If you sign in to another device you will be asked if you wish to switch the account to that device.
