1. Goethe Goes Global – Masters Scholarship

Deadline: July 31st

Goethe University’s Master scholarship programme is a groundbreaking project, and unique in the academic landscape of Germany. For a period of five years (2016-2020), the University is of­fering 20 scholarships per year for various MSc and MA courses with a special emphasis on research. Both German and foreign students can apply.

The scholarship covers a monthly amount of 1,000€ for the standard period of a master’s programme at Goethe-University (generally 2 years), support and orientation from an experienced master’s student buddy during your studies, access to seminars, innovative research environment, and networks that connect you with fellow scholarship holders and other advanced researchers.


2. DAAD Masters Scholarships for Public Policy and Good Governance

Deadline:July 31st

The DAAD Helmut-Schmidt-Programme Masters Scholarships for Public Policy and Good Governance Programme offers very good graduates from developing countries the chance to obtain a Master’s degree in disciplines that are of special relevance for the social, political and economic development of their home country at German institutions of higher education.

DAAD scholarship holders within the Helmut-Schmidt-Programme are exempted from tuition fees. DAAD pays a monthly scholarship rate of currently €850. The scholarship also includes contributions to health insurance in Germany, appropriate travel allowance, a study and research subsidy as well as rent subsidies and/or allowances for spouses and/or children where applicable.


3. Bath Spa University Vice Chancellor’s International Scholarship

The Bath Spa University offers funding opportunities for high achieving students from outside the UK who are entering postgraduate studies with the University. The scholarship is available for Any full-time Postgraduate Taught Masters Degree Program taught on-campus. The scholarship covers £5000 of the first year of fees.


4. IWC Scholarships for International Students

Deadline: August 1st

The IWC Masters Scholarships are prestigious scholarships awarded annually to high caliber candidates who clearly demonstrate potential to become future water leaders to study the IWC Master of Integrated Water Management (MIWM) at Griffith University.

The scholarship is of two (2) types, Type A and Type B. Type A is for future water leaders from priority countries in Asia-Pacific, Latin America, Africa, and the Middle-East, while Type B is for Future water leader from selected countries in North America, Europe, or Asia.

For Type A, the scholarship is valued at approximately AU$ 92,645 and will cover full tuition fees, living costs, return air travel to Australia, university student amenities fee, student visa, and overseas health cover. While Type B is valued at approximately AU$ 56,739 and will cover full tuition fees and return air travel to Australia.


5. Schwarzman Scholars Program at Tsinghua University

Schwarzman Scholars is the first scholarship created to respond to the geopolitical landscape of the 21st Century. The program will give the world’s best and brightest students the opportunity to develop their leadership skills and professional networks through a one-year Master’s Degree at Tsinghua University in Beijing, one of China’s most prestigious universities.

The extraordinary students selected to become Schwarzman Scholars will receive a comprehensive scholarship that will include tuition and fees, room and board, travel to and from Beijing at the beginning and end of the academic year, an in-country study tour, required course books and supplies, health insurance, and a personal stipend of $4,000.


6. Bristol University Think Big Scholarships

Deadline: June 30th

In 2019, Bristol University is investing £500,000 to help the brightest and best international students come to the University of Bristol. Think Big Undergraduate scholarships and Think Big Postgraduate scholarships are available for courses starting in 2019. The scholarships offered by Bristol University can only be used as fee waivers towards the cost of tuition fees.


7. Adelaide Scholarships International (ASI)

Deadline: April 30th

The University of Adelaide offers Adelaide Scholarships International (ASI) to attract high quality overseas postgraduate students to areas of research strength in the University of Adelaide to support its research effort.

The scholarship includes course tuition fees, annual living allowance ($27,082), and overseas student health cover (if the award holder holds a subclass 500 visa). The scholarship is awarded for two years for a Masters degree by Research and three years for a Doctoral research degree (an extension is possible for doctoral programs only).


8. International Ambassador Scholarships at University of West London

The International Ambassador Scholarship recognizes and provides financial support for outstanding students who wish to act as ambassadors for the University of West London. Scholarships are worth up to £5,000.  The scholarship provides a discount against the cost of tuition for the first year of study only.


9. Fulbright Foreign Student Program in the USA

The Fulbright Foreign Student Program enables graduate students, young professionals, and artists, from abroad to study and conduct research in the United States at U.S. universities or other academic institutions. The scholarship covers tuition, airfare, a living stipend, and health insurance, etc.


10. Université Paris-Saclay International Master’s Scholarships

Deadline: May 13th

The Université Paris-Saclay would like to promote access to it’s master’s (nationally-certified degree) programs to international students, taught in its member establishments, and to make it easier for highly-qualified foreign students to attend its University especially those wishing to develop an academic project through research up to the doctoral level.

The Université Paris-Saclay scholarship is €10,000 per year. It is paid by the establishment the candidate is registered in for the duration of the academic year, and for a period of no less than 10 consecutive months per year (September to June). A maximum of €1,000 for travel and VISA expenses is also awarded depending on the candidate’s country of origin
